Cecily Lohmar, Founder and Principal New Heights Group

Cecily Lohmar is a founder and principal of New Heights Group. She has spent the past 20 years as a health care consultant with a focus on strategic planning and growth strategies. She has assisted providers in their service line development efforts, physician alignment initiatives, integration/consolidation strategies, and other efforts to position for competitive advantage. She has helped organizations with implementing portfolio analyses to identify service lines to pursue, educated new service line managers and executive teams, evaluate existing service line efforts for refinement and possible restructuring, and developed plans to take service lines to a new level. She has particular depth and expertise in the areas of post acute care, orthopedics, neurosciences, behavioral health and ambulatory services. Ms. Lohmar is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics and is starting a two-day ACHE seminar on service line development in the spring of 2009.
